Registration for 2025 Canada Summer Open ID Camps is now Open!

Registration for the 2025 Canada Summer Games Open ID Camp is now Open!     Athletes eligible to register to attend ID Camps for the teams are:

• Male Team:  Birth Years 2012 - 2008.      
• Female Team: Birth Years 2011 - 2008

Please see below for details regarding the ID Process and Games themselves.

INFORMATION ON CANADA GAMES

• Dates
  • Female Team:  Depart on August 8th, 2025 and return on August 17th, 2025.  Competition Days are August 10th to 16th.
  • Male Team:  Depart on August 17th, 2025 and return on August 25th, 2025.  Competitions Days are August 19th to 24th.                          

• Roster Sizes
  • Both teams are only permitted 16 Runners and 2 Goalies

• Over/Under Age Players - The primary age groups is U17, but each team is permitted three overage players, and can take underage players if needed.

• Location - St. Johns, NFLD.  Lacrosse will be played at the Arena in Paradise.

INFORMATION ON OPEN ID PROCESS

OPEN ID CAMP

For the Open ID Camp, athletes will attend three weekends,  two one day camps to display Lacrosse skills and fitness testing, and one weekend of scrimmages.  Athletes are expected to attend all sessions.   If an athlete can NOT attend a session, there is a spot on the Registration form to provide that information, approval will be required for missing an ID Session.  As this is selection for Canada Games, attendance is mandatory with out an approved reason for missing.  All Athletes must be registered by the first weekend.

• Session #1 - Will Take place on November 2nd in Weyburn at the Spark Center.   Tentative times are:
  • 9:00am to 11:00am:  Male Team On Floor Time
  • 11:00am to 1:00pm: Female Team On Floor Time
  • 1:30pm to 2:20pm: Male Fitness Testing
  • 2:30pm to 3:20pm: Female Fitness Testing
  • 4:00pm to 6:00pm: Male Team On Floor Time
  • 6:00pm to 8:00pm: Female Team On Floor Time

• Session #2 - Will Take place on November 30th in Moose Jaw at the Yara Center.  Tentative times are:
  • 9:00am to 11:00am:  Female Team On Floor Time
  • 11:00am to 1:00pm: Male Team On Floor Time
  • 1:30pm to 2:20pm:  Fitness testing for any Athletes who could not make November 2nd time.
  • 3:30pm to 5:30pm: Female Team On Floor Time
  • 5:30pm to 7:30pm: Male Team On Floor Time

• Scrimmage Weekend - Will take place on December 14th & December 15th in Saskatoon at Henk Rhyes Soccer Center.  Tentative times are:
  • Saturday - 8:00am to 11:00am
  • Sunday - 8:00am to 12:00pm

Cost for the ID Camp is $250 (plus gst) and includes:

• Three weekends of ID Camp sessions,.
• Skill Shark Report Card
• Try Out Pinnie.

REGISTRATION FOR OPEN ID CAMPS

After the Open ID Camp Coaches will select players to the Training Camp team which will train from January to April and will attend the US Box Nationals in Irvine California the February 15th weekend.  The team will train each month with efforts to have training be a part of the Team Sask ID camps for younger teams so families can remain together.  In May the final team rosters will be selected with practice players.
