All Coaches in Saskatchewan are required by Sask Sport to take the Respect In Sport certification program. This is a program that is completed online and as of right now, Sask Sport says never expires. Some sports require Parents to complete the Respect In Sport Parent program, however that program is NOT the same as the Respect in Sport Activity Leader Program that is required for Coaches, so that certification will not translate over for Coaching certification. The videos below will go over how to create a profile and complete the required certification.
If Coaches have taken the Respect In Sport program through other sports, another Province, or any other programs, including School Districts, you do NOT have to repeat the course, you can import your certificate to receive credit for taking the course. The video's below will go over how to import your certification and how to look up your certification number if you do not have it.
