Team Sask Coach Information

Anyone interested in becoming a Team Sask Coach can apply during the application period.  Once the application period closes the Team Sask Coaching Committee then diligently reviews each application to select the Head Coaches.   The Committee then works with the Head Coach to re-review applications to select Assistant Coaches.     The Team Sask Coaching Committee is made up of:

  • SLA V.P. of Operations
  • SLA Coaching Sector Chair
  • SLA Box Sector Chair
  • SLA Field Sector Chair
  • SLA Women's Sector Chair
  • SLA Executive Director
  • SLA Programs Coordinator

All Team Sask Coaches must have an updated valid criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector check and must be Competitive Introduction Certified in their specific sector (Box, Field, Women's Field) a month prior to Nationals.   Coaches who apply should have these certification or working towards them.    After Coaches are selected, the SLA Programs Coordinator will work with each Coach to ensure proper certifications are completed.
