Safe Sport

As part of it's commitment to the Safe Sport movement,  on March 25th, 2024, at the 2024 AGM, the Saskatchewan Lacrosse Association members passed the new 2024 Safe Sport Suite that will replace the 2016 DR Policies.

The Safe Sport in it's entirety can be seen below in a link,  the SLA will work on separating the documents within the suite to make each section easily obtainable as well.

For additional information on the Safe Sport Suite,  Sport Canada has put together some great free online modules for individuals involved in the sport world that educates on Safe Sport and the UCCM.   This is good information for parents, athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers/administrators.

 

The Locker (coach.ca)

 

Anyone with a Locker Account can access the course for free,  if you do not have a NCCP number or Locker Account, you can sign up for one for free (which will also give access to a lot of great educational modules).    The Safe Sport Module adjusts based on what role you state have you.
