2024 Team Sask/Jr Rush Registration Now Open

Registrations for the 2024 Team Sask program, which includes the Jr. Rush program is now open!

This Team Sask Program and Jr. Rush program offer the following teams and programs groups can try out for:

• U13 Team Sask Box (Coed)
• U13 Team Sask Box (Female)
• U13 Jr. Rush (Coed)

• U15 Team Sask Box (Coed)
• U15 Team Sask Box (Female)
• U15 Jr. Rush (Coed)
• U15 Women's Field

• U17 Team Sask Box (Coed)
• U17 Team Sask Box (Female)
• U17 Jr. Rush (Coed)
• U17 Men's Field

• U19 Men's Field
• U19 Women's Field

The program offers different competitions/events for each team,  these competitions/events are:

• Prairie Cup Regional Championship - Regina, SK - July 26 - 28
  • U13/U15/U17 Team Sask Box (Coed and Female)
  • Jr. Rush Teams
  • Possible exhibition games for Field teams

• Lacrosse Canada Women's Field U19 National Championship and U15 Women's Field Festival - Winnipeg, MB - end of July (dates TBD)
  • U15 Women' Field
  • U19 Women's Field

• PLL Super Camp
  • U17/U19 Men's Field
  • Possible Women's Field, depending on finalized dates of Nationals

• Lacrosse Canada Minor Box National Championships - Regina, SK - August 11th to 18th
  • U13/U15/U17 Team Sask Box (Coed and Female)

• Jr. NLL Tournament - Oakville, ON - Mid August (Dates TBD)
  • U13/U15/U17 Jr. Rush Teams

• Lacrosse Canada Field National Championships - Calgary, AB -  August 30th to September 2nd 
  • U17/U19 Men's Field

The try out process will look a bit different this year in order to help with evaluations, and help parents save on travel costs.  

ALL BOX TEAMS

• Attend ONE Open ID Camp.   There is a North and South ID camp,  players only need to attend one.  The dates of these camps are:
  • January 27th & 28th - Weyburn, SK
  • February 9th & 10th - Martensville, SK
  • Players will receive an evaluation report card after the Open ID Camps

• After the Open ID Camp, players will be notified if they are invited to move on to Invitational Camps.  This year they will be invited to the specific team they are continuing to be reviewed for (Coed, Female, or Jr. Rush).  Players will attend both Invitational Camps.  The dates of these camps are:
  1. March 2nd & 3rd - Moose Jaw, SK
  2. March 24th & 25th - Martensville, SK
  3. Players will receive a new evaluation report card after the Invitational ID Camp

• After the Invitational Camp, there will be a finals camp that players attend.  It will be up to the Coaches to determine if they make any further cuts between the camps.  The date of this camp is:
  • April 6th OR 7th (dependent on age, but players will only have one day of sessions)

FIELD TEAMS (Men's and Women's)

• Attend the 1st ID Camp
  • March 9th & 10th - Moose Jaw, SK
  • Players will receive an Evaluation report card after this event.

• Attend the Finals Camp
  • April 7th - Saskatoon, SK

Athletes who can not attend the Open ID Camp will be able to attend an Invitational Camp as their Open ID Camp.  Athletes who can not attend either we will need to work with case by case, however all athletes need to be registered by first day of Open ID Camp.

COSTS

Costs include a sublimated pinnie (of Goalie jersey for Box Goalies), and an evaluation report cards.

• Box Open ID Camp (If registered by January 22) - $100
• Late Box Open ID Camp (If registered between January 22 and January 27) - $150
• Box Invitational Camp - $75
• Box Finals Camp - $50
• Field ID Camp - (If registered by March 4) - $100
• Late Field ID Camp - (If registered between March 4 and March 9) - $150
• Field Finals Camp - $50
• Dual Athlete Open ID (Players trying out for both a Box team and Field team) - $150

Costs of the try outs go towards covering the costs of pinnies, evaluation software, travel expenses for Coaches and Evaluators, and honorarium for helper coaches running drills on the floor.  Any surplus after all expenses are paid are given back to the Teams to help lower team costs.

To registration,  use the link below,  select your athletes age division, and then select the package (either Open ID Camp OR Dual Athlete ID camp).     As players are moved forward in the selection process, the appropriate packages will be added to their account.    Dual athletes no longer need to register twice, as we have worked with RAMP to have athletes only need one registration, and everything for both teams will be placed under one registration.    Below is a PDF of the floor times for all the ID Camps as well (please note that times are subject to change and will be communicated).     

For players hoping to go to the 2025 Canada Games,  there will be a place in the registration that asks if you are interested, as Coaches will be starting to evaluate athletes at the 2024 ID Camps.  

When you are registering your athlete, please check that all email addresses in your player's RAMP account are current and up to date,  these emails are the ones that are used for all future communications.  Please also make sure your email is set to accept RAMP emails so they do not go to junk.
