Change to SLA Field Season
At the annual SLA Field Sector Meetings held on January 13th, 2024 the Field Sector approved making some changes to the Field Season.
Field Provincials will now take place in the Fall, and the 2024 tentative dates (hosts confirming on field times) are:
- September 28th & 29th, 2024 - U11/U13 Championships.
- October 11th to 13th, 2024 - U17/U20 Championships
- U15 to be determined which weekend, will depend if U15 continues to run as a 7's format for Provincials, or 10's format for Provincials
- Women's Field will be incorporated into one or both of the weekends as well.
Field Associations will now have the option to offer programs in the Spring AND/OR Fall based on what works best for their Membership. Further planning for Festivals and Competitions in the Fall will also be planned over the upcoming months. Please watch your local Association website, emails, and social channels for updates to their specific programming. A list of Member Association contacts can be found below:

The Field Sector hopes this will allow even more options for players to participate in different Lacrosse programming with out conflict.
