Our favorite day of the year is right around the corner ..... LAX DAY IN SASKATCHEWAN ON APRIL 1ST, 2023! This is a day the Saskatchewan Rush and Sask Lacrosse celebrate Lacrosse across the Province and all our Athletes, Coaches, and Officials! The day includes:
Lax Day Try Lacrosse Session - players can come out and Try Lacrosse, or shake the dust of their sticks to prepare for 2023 on the Rush Turf! Coaches from around the Province and Team Sask players will be there to ensure players learn something new and have a great time! There will be two floor times:
12:00pm - 1:15pm and 1:30pm - 2:45pm. We will let players know which floor time they are assigned to the week of the event.
National Anthem - players who attend the Lax Day Try Lacrosse Session will have the opportunity to be around the Canada Flag during the National Anthem at the Rush Game, they will join players from Yorkton Lacrosse, Churchbridge Lacrosse, and Sturgis Lacrosse to fill out the day!
Half Time Scrimmage - we always bring the most actioned packed half time show with our Tyke/Novice Scrimmage! Players from the Try Lax Sessions will get to take part in a Scrimmage at Half time (limited spots)
There will be a player from every SLA Member Association running out with a Rush Player during the pre-game ceremony
Players will also receive TWO FREE TICKETS to the Rush game that evening, donated by the Saskatchewan Rush!!
The Lax Day Try Lacrosse Session is open to U6, U8, U11, and U13 players who wish to join us! Cost is $40/player and players receive an hour and 15 minute floor time, T-Shirt, and Rush Medal. Funds go towards covering expenses of the event and the Team Sask program. A Rush player will also join the sessions to talk to the players about their experiences as a Rush player! SPOTS ARE LIMITED FOR THE EVENTS SO IT WILL BE A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS SO MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR REGISTRATION IN EARLY! REGISTRATION CLOSES ON MARCH 22ND TO ENSURE WE CAN GET EVERYONE'S T-SHIRT DONE!
