After a two year break the Jr. NLL Tournament held by the Toronto Rock will proceed for 2022! As part of our partnership with the Saskatchewan Rush, the Jr. NLL teams will be ran under the Team Sask program to continue developing as many athletes as possible! Due to the short turn around with the unknown of how the COVID pandemic would effect this year's program, we will only be offering a 16U team for players born in 2007, and 2006, which works perfect since there is not 16U National Championships this year due to the Canada Games.
The Tournament will take place from August 26th to 28th in Toronto Ontario. Team Fees will cover the tournament entry, uniform and Coaches expenses, families will cover their travel costs on their own, however we do have a company booking flights and all team members must stay at the assigned hotel (similar to what you see at the Calgary Tournament).
The Guest Rush Coach will be Mark Matthews and with other Coaches to be named. The first practices will be held on the August 5th weekend in Saskatoon, any cuts if needed will be made that weekend as well. Second set of practices will happen either the August 13th weekend or August 20th weekend and then the team will practice again in Toronto before the tournament starts.
